Max's Place

Max's place is a restaurant located in Guadalupe Nuevo León established in 1987. Faced with a new era of expansion and growth vision, the company will open its second branch with more than 1,200 m2 of construction.  

To create this brand we ran "The Blueprint" to fully understand the industry, our customers, the competition and the end user. For 6 months we were introduced to the brand and were hidden clients, observers and brand consultants.  

We captured the essence of the restaurant and its founders and understood the success of the current restaurant as well as the purchase motivators of current customers to create a 5-year growth strategy.  

Our concept "eat at home" was extended to define a graphic and architectural visual concept that resides in the purest and most representative forms of the northeast of the country. The visual system is represented by patterns of the latticework and mud blocks found in old houses, stamps with phrases typical of the clients and founders as well as a visual system that is adapted to achieve an empathic connection with the client through a familiar identity to what has already been created.

Challenge: Generate an architectural proposal with an identity of the culture of the north.

Express format

Challenge: How to adapt the existing concept to a new business model?
The design of the Max Express format represented a completely different challenge to the work of the previous formats. There was an analysis and research complementary to the study carried out previously; to define the value proposition and concept of the business model. The architecture proposed a "Fast Casual" style restaurant with the DNA of the older sister restaurant.
